SpaceWire StandardSpaceWire is defined in the European Cooperation for Space Standardization standard ECSS-E-ST-50-12C (replaces ECSS-E50-12A). The SpaceWire standard was authored by Steve Parkes, University of Dundee with contributions from many individuals within the SpaceWire Working Group from European Space Agency (ESA), European Space Industry, Academia and NASA. The standard may be downloaded by following the link below: ECSS-E-ST-50-12C (replaces ECSS-E50-12A) The SpaceWire Working Group is currently working on additional protocols to operate with the SpaceWire standard. See the following page for details: The Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) is also working on standards which are to operate with SpaceWire: New draft SpaceWire StandardsThe SpaceWire Working Group is actively working on new draft standards that will define additional protocols, as well as on the revision of the actual SpaceWire standard and on the new SpaceFibre Standard
Intended Protocol IDsThe SpaceWire Working Group is assigning intended protocol IDs to protocols of high general interest and publishes them on the SpaceWire website.
Companies IDsThe SpaceWire Working Group is also assigning vendor IDs to companies working in the SpaceWire domain.
